Kensaye is a French music producer, deejay and radio host based in London. His musical direction can be pigeonholed into future world music, bending Afro-Caribbean traditional music with progressive urban sounds.
He was raised by his Haitian mother and American father in Paris. The latter was a multi instrumentalist who performed with African legends such as Salif Keita, Papa Wemba, Bonga and more. Kensaye moved to London at the age of 15 and after finishing his studies, he embraced his heritage to pursue a career in music.

Current favourite song?
Not on this mix because I don't want to rinse it, but 'Gorilla Riddim' by KillerTunes. I'm also heavy into Amapiano tunes right now.
All time favourite album?
An EP actually. Natureboy Flako - 'Eclosure'.
A festival you recommend and why?
In the UK, I recommend my bros from Samedia Shebeen's amazing festival up in Scotland. It's called Psychedelic Forest Carnival and it's on a beautiful location. I played there last year and was one of the most fun I had deejaying!
Fun fact?
I worked in call centres for a majority of my 'adult' life.
